Privacy Policy

This notice explains how information is handled when you use this website or contact Max Electrical.

When you contact Max Electrical, we collect the details you provide so we can respond to your enquiry and discuss the electrical work you need.

This may include your name, phone number, email address, property address, service type and project message.

We use this information only to reply to your enquiry, arrange work where requested, and keep appropriate records for customer service and business administration.

To request access, correction or deletion of your information, contact us at office@maxelectrical.ie.

Who handles your information

Max Electrical is responsible for the enquiry information you provide. Contact office@maxelectrical.ie with questions about this notice.

Why information is needed

Contact details and project information allow us to take steps at your request before providing a service, and to fulfil an agreed service. Website security and abuse prevention support our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website. Business records may also be needed to meet legal obligations.

Website and email services

The form sends your enquiry by email. Website hosting and email services process information needed to provide those services. The server records technical request information, including IP addresses and requested pages, for operation and security. The form uses an IP-derived identifier to limit repeated submissions.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives technical request information such as your IP address. Choosing an Instagram or WhatsApp link takes you to that provider, where its own privacy notice applies. This website does not currently include advertising or analytics tracking scripts.

Retention

How long records are needed depends on whether an enquiry becomes a job, any ongoing correspondence, and applicable business record obligations. Contact us for the retention period applicable to your enquiry or to request deletion. Deletion may be restricted where records must be retained for a legal obligation or claim.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also raise a concern with Ireland's Data Protection Commission.
